      As the thought process wore on we became more determined and decided that we could not only provide the same as other funeral homes, we could do better.  The result…three years ago, the inception of O’Connell Funeral Services.  This was our answer! O’Connell Funeral Services specializes in Visitations and Funerals at your church. By upsetting the status quo, we are better able to fulfill the needs of the community we serve. We are also able to save families a significant amount of money, (In upwards of $3000 although, quite honestly, most families are more impressed by the personalized service we offer.) We are able to do this by simply eliminating the high overhead often related to the typical funeral home (chapels, banquet rooms, etc.) For years, the funeral home and it’s chapel have gone hand in hand. Today, that tradition is changing. Many families would prefer visitation and funeral at their church. Our thought? We can specialize in this type of funeral – and offer the very best service.  Though it is important for you to know us, we feel it is more important for us to know you. That is why we took our profession to the next level. By conducting  funeral arrangements in the privacy of your home, we really get to know you and your family. The setting is much more comfortable for you than it would be in anyone’s office. By putting you at ease, we are able to learn more about your loved one and family. We are able to better assist you in planning a meaningful, personalized funeral to celebrate the life of your loved one. The entire family is together and involved in planning a special tribute. We find that this is the greatest advantage to providing funerals the O’Connell Way.

     When setting funeral arrangements or pre-need funeral trusts, we bring our services to you.  We meet you in the privacy of your own home.  Funeral arrangements should not be different than any other major decision a family must make.  It should be in a comfortable setting.

     If you already have a funeral trust in place at another funeral home, it's a simple process to transfer it to O'Connell Funeral Services.  Wisconsin has a 100% trusting law.  This means that the money, often in trust to the funeral home, remains the trustee's property.  A phone call to O'Connell Funeral Services can result in saving thousands.

     We realize that not everyone belongs to a church.  O'Connell Funeral Services has affiliations with numerous churches in the Fox Valley that can accommodate your family.
